Community Rules

RobotArtwork exists to celebrate the art that machines make — with integrity, honesty, and mutual respect between builders and collectors. A few rules keep it that way.

1. Be honest about who made the art

Every artwork submission requires a video showing the robot creating the piece. If a human hand contributed in a meaningful way beyond setup and monitoring, say so in the description. Misrepresenting the process is grounds for removal.

2. Original work only

Don't submit artwork your robot didn't create, and don't copy another builder's style, brand, or imagery. Do credit inspirations clearly in your description.

3. Be kind

Offers and messages between buyers and builders are visible to our moderators. Harassment, spam, or attempts to pressure another user are grounds for permanent removal.

4. No off-platform arm-twisting

While the marketplace is introduction-only, sales happen off-platform by design. Once the marketplace is fully activated, circumventing the platform's commission on listings discovered through the site is a violation.

5. Keep it safe and legal

Don't submit work that depicts minors in a sexualised way, promotes violence, or infringes someone else's intellectual property. Copy-paste generative output of identifiable real people without consent is not welcome.

6. Follow moderation outcomes

New accounts have their first submission reviewed. If a submission is rejected, the moderator will tell you why. Repeated violations may result in account restrictions.

7. Respect your buyers

If you accept an offer, follow through. Ship promptly, communicate, and if something goes wrong, talk. The easiest way to lose collectors for the whole community is to ghost one of them.
